So, the results will soon be upon us. Have been thinking about my DD chances and wondering how everyone is feeling about theirs?? My DD thought the NVR was particularly difficult and the VR less so how did others feel ? Is anyone thinking they might not takethe place even if they get in due to other offers on the table?

DD always had 85-95% in tests. She says she felt she was around a 90% ish mark on the day too, but she ran out of time in the NVR guessing the last 5, so reckon she may well have slipped under the radar.

(I'm guessing the cut off mark was equivalent to around 91% based on 1300 girls sitting for 120 places but that may be wrong).*

We have a good 2nd choice school round the corner where DD's mates going so we're happy. Only issue would be if she ends up on waiting list, think I'd leave it up to DD to choose her school now - and you JG?

*Added later for clarification - a little under 1200 girls sat the TGS exam this year in the end, so the school is taking (a little over ) 10% which is about par with previous years.

Hi Doblinski!! My DD like yours has got her 2nd grammar choice which is great but she is sooo keen on Tiffin
as her secondary school that we hope and pray we get a positive letter from the school by ways of a waiting list...We have'nt received any letters so i do hope that more parents join up this thread and give out any info that could give us some insight into the situation

We did the eadmissions so found out yesterday although a little late as site kept crashing, the email arrived almost an hour later than expected, not too bad.

We have got offers from a couple of indies but Tiffin didn't happen. We are hoping waiting list now bu already beginning to see positives of the indie over Tiffin...looking on the bright side!
