From DAO thread, may help in last minutes preparation.

It was the same length as last year. It seems that DAO have decided that they want the candidates who can process four pages of text quickly and select the relevant information from it in order to answer the questions. This is a crucial skill for doing well in Secondary School. In my opinion it will be this length from now on. After last year I had anticipated this and my students had done lots and lots of 4 page mocks so they actually found it quite straightforward and easier than the maths. Their feedback was that the text itself was not difficult, it was just that there was a lot of it. Those who are not readers or have only prepared with much shorter passages may well have found it more challenging.

What is DAO?

Is this referring to the Tiffin tests? The verbal and non-verbal ones?
