We're not till next year, but one of DS1s best friends applied this year. He got in, thank goodness, but it was nail biting for a while.

Thank you kingstondad for starting this year's forum. Competition is getting harder and harder. Last year the original cut off mark was 228. Our boys would have got in without any waiting. My husband called Tiffin school on Tuesday and was told to call back after two weeks.I am still confused, don,t know how long does it take to go to the next mark.

If many boys decline, it can take a day. If very few decline, then it may take lot of time or may not happen at all. Last year 26 places were given from wait list, so I think that children with 228 score have very strong possibility of getting places. Keep hope. It may take as long as late July or even later.

Most of the children who got 229 have accepted the places. It means school is still waiting for the replies from the original offers.

Hi, I am new to 11 plus forum. My DS is also waiting on tiffin boys and he scored 228. I am really anxious, as he wants tiffin so badly. Can anyone tell me if he still has any chance at all.
