Have heard from another parent that Tiffin Girls are not giving out any information to parents with regards to the weighting of the 3 papers in the second test. I find it truly bizarre and actually quite unacceptable, why the secrecy?

Unfortunately, you're probably right. As it is, I think the English essay element will give them a lot flexibility in being able to handpick the girls they want.

I do hope that TGS won't go that wrong. I did hear that HT or senior teachers would go through all the Eng-W papers so that marking is fair and consistent for all.
