Does anybody know what is the cut off at Wilsons this year?

Out of interest for those who will be sitting this test in the future. Did Wilsons include any admission figures this year in the confirmation letter?

No, no info whatsoever. They just mention "the exceptionally high standard of applicants this year". Unfortunately, nothing that can give anyone an idea of a cut off mark... grrrrr Now I am curious too!

My DS is in Year 4 and we're thinking of applying for Wilsons but not sure we've got a chance him being offered a place. We live in Hither Green / Lee Green so we're very far away but I visited the school last year and fell in love with it.

What are the chances of my DS being offered a place considering the fact we live far away?

Wilson's is 'almost' open-selective. Your DS needs to have selective ability and his score should be ranked high enough to be in the top 130-140, who have put Wilson's as their higher preference.

Thank you.

Woodham, if your son is academic and you like the school, go for it. We live too far for distance to be in DS favour and he still got in. Like Tiffinboys said, he just has to score high enough not to fall in the tiebreaker band. Beware the test this year will be a two part test.
