Are there any more of us out there - I can't believe that mine and Gringo64's DSs are the only two on the forum to be going to WCGS this year.

My DS will be going to WCGS this year. I have another friend whose DS will also be going to WCGS. I am glad that the 11plus is finally over.
Does any one knows when WCGS orientation takes place ?

Induction meeting is on 19th April according to the school calendar - which is generally right. Induction BBQ 22 June and then the 4 induction days are the following Monday Tuesday of the next 2 weeks.

Out of interest for those who will be sitting this test in the future. Did WCGS include any admission figures this year in the confirmation letter?

We haven't had a confirmation letter from the school yet, just the allocation letter from the education authority.

As expected, there are no score details in the confirmation letter received from WCGS. In any event, with the change to the tests from this year (to two stage testing) I doubt that this would be of much use to you anyway.
The WCGS induction package does, however, look great - DSs gets 4 days in the school before they start plus parent induction workshop, family bbq and a separate sports morning. They will feel like old boys before they even start

WCGS don't publish marks obtained in entrance exam. at any stage. It was clearly stated in their admission policy document.
