Some Local Authorities give more information than others

Post by SGSMumof2 »

Merton Council has posted really interesting information about admissions to secondary school places on its web-site. http://www.merton.gov.uk/learning/schoo ... yplace.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I am unable to find this information for Sutton or RB Kingston.

It would be good to have the info that Merton has posted for all Local Authorities

Warwickshire publish similar data to Merton's. You could always ask for it as a Freedom of Information request, and perhaps add a suggestion that they publish it, in line with what other authorities do.

Kingston has sent similar information to the applicants' parents/carers.

Sutton parents/carers also received the same information in the official offer letter that came on March 2.

Sutton has something similar - although not quite the same format on p15 of this document.

And Kingston has it here although it's listed against each school, not laid out as a table[/url].
