Ditto with my DS. Timing especially on NVR for him.

Someone told me you get raw scores fed back to you with the results (as well as standardised scores). Is that right?

I have no idea what sort of raw score you normally need to get to a cut-off...... but sounds like my DS guessed too many as a result of running out of time to have much of a chance.

Interesting 'Sharpboy'. My son did QE, Latymer, Mill Hill and Dame alice owen tests and did find the Tiffins NVR challenging in terms of time(80 Questions in 40mins!). He manage to complete the NVR 10 secs before the end :o , NVR being his favorutie, but did not find to recheck.

I wonder how this calculator 'http://kendrickcalculator.weebly.com' fits for Tiffins results.

My DS also done QE, Bucks and Herts and he found both Tiffins papers relatively easy and had few mins left in the end for NVR?

Was it really only 40 mins and not 50? That would be challenging!

My DS also didn't finish the NVR :(, despite usually having ten mins to spare in parctice papers! Oh well. Still, DD says that one of her friends at TGS left out eight questions in the NVR when she took the test and still got a place, so... Let's hope they all did extra well in the VR. :)

Dear Sherwood,

On the Tiffins website it says the exam is 80 questions in 50 minutes?

Was it 80 questions in 40 minutes?

It was 50 not 40. 50 is challenging enough. MY DS left even more to guess work (so he says) so exploring plans B, C and D ....

TGS.. my friends daughter too said she could not finish 13 NVR question.

I am assuming the Tiffin Boys and Girls tests are different.
