No, we are not putting Sutton in the list and not that keen to ask the DS to sit another exam after all he has gone through.

We will be. We have several options to consider but I'm not leaving anything to chance as there are no guarantees.

If I knew his rank then I would be more confident but without that information we shall just keep going. Luckily DS likes a challenge!

Also, we are just starting to do some practice (for independent exams in Jan) and he will benefit from completing a timed essay under exam conditions.

It's also because the more I read up on Sutton, the more I like the sound of it. I shall see what DS thinks.

Any updates from posters or your friends now the deadline has passed? Ds will be there and maybe 2 or 3 others from his school, as he did pass Wallington but may well be way down as messed up the writing.

Interested to hear that some have decided not to sit for SGS. Ladymuck - is it a particluar independent school you favour over the grammars, or a general preference ?
