Re: Anyone preparing for Indies now?
Ladymuck, do you know if Sutton High results are out yet? I have a friend whose dd sat the exam and I don't want to ask her how her dd did, just in case...and I know how stressful it is waiting for those results.

Thanks. I know how awful the wait is and it's only just begun really...

Couldn't agree more Ladymuck! I just posted exactly the same thing on the Habs boys thread. I have been working my way through the indy English papers since the last state school exam QE boys on 25th Sept and I am srtuck by how each one requires a slightly different approach. North London Consortium, Trinity, Reigate, Emanuel, Habs, City, Manchester, Perse. It appears really easy for ten year olds to completely misread the question and not actually answer the question they have been asked. "Iamfrazzled" forget Tiffin, these exams require different skills. Your ds has every opportunity to do welll if you work your way carefully through English and maths papers. DG

Pineapple, Sutton results came out yesterday, so you are "safe" to ask...
Re: Anyone preparing for Indies now?
thanks Ladymuck, friend texted me this morning to say that it was good news, so that's a relief for them all!

Good luck to everyone. You are right - the English paper is the key, in my opinion. Those beastly questions appear deceptively easy at first glance ...
