Anyone preparing for Indies now?

As I think all of the state selective schools have now finished their exams, are any DCs now preparing for any Indies?

Just a couple in January for us. Surbiton high and KGS.
Planning to do just some low key revision over Chrustmas but know we won't get much done with all the festivities going on!!
Good luck to everyone who is sitting for the Indies. Would love to hear how you all are motivating your DCs to jump one final hurdle. My DD has just decided she will relax and take everything in her stride. She's happy with her grammar school 'passes' for TGS, Wally girls and Nonsuch but would love to get a scholarship place at KGS or Surbiton.

Hi Ladymuck and good luck to your DD for Croydon High. That's my old school! But in my day there were free 11+ places there under the long-defunct Direct Grant system. And my sister teaches at Woldingham. Beautiful place and she loves working there, but no idea what it's like as a parent.

No no need yet. We are only bothering owing to having passed selective eligibility thingy but not sure there's much much point going for independents as below average Tiffins mark meant he was I guess about 1500 out of 2000 and we certainly saw the same old faces at open days and exams. Ok will reconvene here second week of jan
