Waking up to such news is so ...............

TGS was only consulting on minor tweaks to year 12 admissions; low number of responses is understandable, however, even when there was significant changes, local parents and LA have shown unbelieving apathy, allowing the schools to adopt admission arrangements with total disregard to the local needs. Compare this attitude with parents from other areas, Reading or Sutton for example, who struggled hard for changes in their local grammars admission arrangements.

None of the responses related to the proposed changes to the draft admissions arrangements for
September 2015
Subtle. So if you didn't directly relate your response to the "proposed changes" it was effectively ignored.
Oh well... I think they will be forced to change in the end anyway... with other schools adopting distance criteria they are going to have a bumper number of applications next year!

Admission arrangements now determined. Quick read shows that the transitional arrangements have been extended. Siblings of girls currently on roll as of 2nd Sep 2013 could sit for the entrance tests.
