Hello all,
I am bit confused with CEM tests. If pupil take Slough CEM test then the same test score would be used for all other interested schools of CEM type? Say for example Birmingham etc?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Regards

Hi - this should be posted in the new CEM 11 Plus section, not Surrey.

In short, no.

The Slough schools will do exactly the same exam as Kendrick and Reading. Applicants can opt to share their raw score with either Kendrick or Reading (as appropriate) to be standardised, (Kendrick/reading applicants can opt to share with Slough)
Therefore same raw score will likely give different standardised scores for Slough and Reading/Kendrick.

However this 'sharing' only applies to the Berkshire schools and schools doing CEM in other areas will not have the option to share with Berkshire or vice versa.

I know many schools seem to be setting the same test date this year though.

Do look at the new CEM section too for more advice: the aim is for all CEM information to be gathered together there so people can find it easily. Good luck.
