Anyone entered DD for wallington or tffins for mid year test
Hi all,
I just wanted to know of any parents who entered their DD for mid year admissions at Wallington girls and Tiffins.
I know the subjects to be tested but just wanted information on what curriculum and books to use to prep.
Also how anyone else DD did in these tests?
Many Thanks
Roz

Hi,
Not in your area, but when DD got the invitation to apply for an in-year place at what is now 'her' GS, we had a look on the school's website at their year 7 handbook and checked that she was familiar with all the topics listed for maths and science (English not so pressing). It helped that it was right at the end of the academic year, so she just knew that anything could come up, rather than trying to second-guess the exam-setter. DD used the relevant CGP KS3 revision books and BBC Bitesize, but actually found that most topics had been covered very well at her comprehensive school.
