Fingers crossed tiffinboys that Nonsuch do provide a score to assist parents to complete the CAF and an idea what chances they have to go on the waiting list with the score.

I know that many schools now refuse to give any indication of score at all but it makes me very nervous when you have absolutely no way of checking whether a mistake has been made in relation to your child.

As I've posted on here before, my DD1 was not offered a place at Nonsuch on first allocation and it was only because we then received her score that we realised that something was amiss. She had scored extremely highly and when we contacted the school we were told that "an administrative error" had been made affecting some of the girls who were out of catchment. They had effectively been missed off the list that had been sent round to the local authority. If we had not been told what her score was, we would have had no indication of the mistake. She was offered a place immediately after I spoke to the school. I think the same happened to someone else on the forum last year?

The people looking at these hundreds of exam papers are only human and sorting out who is in catchment and out etc is also done by humans. Humans make mistakes. You only have to look at the amount of re-grading going on this year with gcse results to see how easy it is to make a mistake first time round. I'm so glad I'm all done and dusted on the 11plus front.

DH is also infuriatingly relaxed about the whole process and takes a 'que sera sera' approach to DD school outcomes. If I'm rational I know he's quite right as there is nothing to be gained by fretting but I do hate not knowing.

DS1 and DS2 have also been through entrance exams so have been here before. DS1 sailed through but DS2 was initially on waiting list. Only reason I survived the wait list was that I was in the middle of jury service and had a trial to distract me. No such distraction this week!

Just got the email. Passed. Highest and lowest qualifying scores given along with DD's mark.

If you could, please post the details given by school e.g. highest, lowest score and number of applicants passed and total applicants, if given. Thanks. Always felt that Nonsuch would give more information than just pass/fail.

I am pleased to inform you that your daughter has been deemed to be of selective ability in the entrance tests held recently at Nonsuch. You should be aware that this letter does not represent an offer of a place at Nonsuch but is simply a notification of your daughter’s results in the entrance tests; it is to inform you that she has been deemed to be of selective ability.

To be deemed of selective ability, candidates must pass all three parts of the tests (SET, Nonsuch Second Stage Maths paper and Nonsuch Second Stage English paper with each of these three elements carrying equal weight). Your daughter’s total score in these tests - along with both the highest and lowest total scores - is shown in the table below. All scores shown include an age standardisation. No further information about your daughter’s results will be made available.

Of the 890 candidates who sat the Nonsuch Second Stage Entrance Examination, 702 passed all three components and are therefore eligible for one of the 210 places available for the September 2015 entry.

Anyone have any ideas what the standardised will be for top 85 places for ooc?

Will try to work out later. Meantime, hopefully, our maths/statistics specialists will definitely come out with most probable answers.
