For what it's worth, my son scored 233, so not everyone scored so high... I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the extra form this year will (at least) counterbalance the increase in applications, so the qualifying score won't move up from the last two years.

Minimum qualifying score has dropped to 219 suggesting it was actually tougher this year.

What was last year's Minimum qualifying score?

Well done every one. Great scores being posted.

One could make a better guess about likely cut off score if we know the number of children taken the test. The test was over 2 days, but quite a large number of children who register don't actually sit for the tests.

PAN goes to 180 from Sep 2015. All things same, that alone would have resulted in upto 2 marks drop in the cut-off scores.

This is also the first year that minimum score (219) has been decided. Upto now, there was no such score. Perhaps from next year, pupil premium children would have some places.

Big Brother would be too happy. :D
Thank you Tiffinboys. Yes he is, he kept emailing me from school email address and I missed a heartbeat at each of them. So thrilled for my younger DS. He is in love with Tiffin School already. May all who succeed shine there and may all those who didn't get through get the best alternative. A big thank you to the Forum members. It has been a guideline throughout our journey. :D

My son didn't make it past the 219 threshold. He got 215.

He did pass Slough and Bucks though.

Did anyone get a second email an hour later?!! Pheww.. I thought it was to inform an error! I nearly had a heart attack!

So no one gets in from OOC it seems;

"The number of boys in the priority area who have scored 219 or higher exceeds the number of places available.

This means boys who are outside the priority area will not be considered for a place."

YoungSucess, I did not understand it?
Does it mean OOC will not be considered at all :(
Or limited seats available for OOC with a different cut off score?
Any idea howmany seats for OOC?

Looks like, as generally predicted, no places available for OOC.

I am afraid the email is quite clear, no space for OOC at all. :(

Have you got other results from your area?
