Postman finally arrived! 244 (140 VR and 104 NVR standardised). Really pleased for DD. She said the NVR was tricky so that result was not a surprise.

I do wish TGS would email - would save money and be so much more efficient.

Mine failed spectacularly and scored well below 200. Ah well, sure it wouldn't have been the right school for her anyway.

All the best to your frighteningly intelligent daughters!!

I remember seeing your posts before, Schmedz, and would like to wish your daughter happiness at whichever school she does go to.

Thank you - I know she (just like her older sister who also 'failed' the TGS test) will be fine. Neither of them had any preparation to sit the exams, so their experience of VR and NVR was what they got from an iPad app I installed they could 'play with' when they chose to. Both are outstanding at English, languages, and music, enjoy sport and basically love learning and going to school. Eldest is currently at perfect school for her musical opportunities and youngest will be applying for art and music scholarships at our two preferred indies.
Very excited for their future (but it would have been nice not to pay school fees, which is the appeal of TGS for us!!)

Schmedz ,

I sincerly believe your dear DD will just be excellent in an Indie. Grammar school just save one the task of paying high fees especially in difficult financial climate
