I wish we at least knew how many catchment girls passed vrs out of catchment..

It is hard to judge - very few people will submit their preference form before the results come out and the papers are marked without reference to where a candidate lives. It matters more how many people finally apply from in catchment and OOC as opposed to how many pass in each category but nobody knows that yet.

The chances after a stage 2 pass though are generally considered to be pretty good because the same pool of children are likely to have passed at least 1 and maybe many other 11+ exams. Each child can only get one offer so a high number of passes doesn't matter if many of them are duplicates.

Well done everyone. Can't help but feel we achieved something today even though as we all know, a place is far from certain. DD passed, she ideally prefers Nonsuch but we are securely within catchment for Wally, borderline for nonsuch, and generally not as confident for her performance in nonsuch test. Very happy whatever! A few glasses of vino collapso now.

Hi, I am new to this 11 Plus...My daughter hassed the Wallington and we are waiting for Nonsuch. In case of her passing both schools, and as we do not have any preferences, we will put them both to the CAF form, one of them first and then other as a second...
But could it be that we will still not geting a place in any of these 2 schools? Did this happen before? I am so stressed by thinking about this scenario...Pls advsie
