Re: Wilson's results
Ladymuck might know this better.Jem123 wrote:Thanks Coolparent123, but I'm not sure that's right as Wilsons aggregate the scores in the ratio of 2:4:4 for SET:2nd Maths:2nd Eng. Any other ideas?CoolParent123 wrote:560 I believeJem123 wrote:If the pass mark was 485, does anyone have any idea what the maximum mark could be, i.e. 485 out of what?
280 - First Stage
280 - Second Stage
However, let me think........ they first determine a passing Mark based on the standardised score in both stages. Whoever gets more than 485 marks collectively is considered as pass. The ratio will be applied then to decide the rank order of the passed students.
If someone thinks that I am wrong, please feel to correct?

Re: Wilson's results
Each stage and paper will be standardised and applied in final ratio 2:4:4. Wilson's gives more weight to its own papers than WCGS. One reason Wilson's does not publish pass marks is so those who finally arrive at the school cannot compare their results or rank each other.
