Hi, sorry to bother with so many qs :(
Are there any direct buses from Carshalton Beeches or Carshalton on Hill?
If anybody local to the area, I'm happy to pm the street names to give more details.
Otherwise if I get the bus numbers, then I can check the route of the buses.
Thanks.

My daughter is in year 7 at Nonsuch and we are in Carshalton on the Hill. No direct buses to Nonsuch, she gets the train from Wallington to Cheam. There are quite a few girls and more get on at Carshalton Beeches. The train journey is 9 minutes and costs 90p I think.

In the afternoon she gets the X26 bus back to Carshalton High Street as thats where I pick her siblings up. X26 is quick but not that frequent which is why we don't use it in the morning.

Hope that helps, let me know if you need more info.

Thanks tiffinboys, with the help of the said website, now it's much clearer :)
Clickclack, that was really helpful. How long does it take to walk from Cheam station to school? Just trying to work out the journey time from my selected location.
Thanks so much. This forum is a blessing :D

It's about a 5 - 7 minute walk from the station, lots of girls walking that way so very sociable. It's a five minute walk from the majority of the bus stops in Cheam too.

There is a northern exit to Cheam station which the girls use all the time.

Hello everybody,
Can anybody advise the journey to Nonsuch school from near Belmont station?
Trains to be changed at Sutton and no direct bus to school, am I right?
Is the journey easily doable? Anybody's DD doing that journey regularly?
Also it seems for journey to London, again change reqd at Sutton, right?
Thanks

For Nonsuch, bus might be better option.
280 to Sutton and then change for Cheam Broadway (213, 151, X26 etc). Frequent bus services.

For London, Trains from Belmont to Victoria Station.
Change at Clapham Junction for Waterloo
Underground from Victoria or Waterloo

Depending on which side of Belmont she can easily walk to the 470 bus stop on Dorset Rd. It stops 2mins from the school. Google the 470 journey plan.

Yes, 470 is also good if its stops are nearby, but not as frequent.
