2nd stage test at wilsons and sutton grammar

I am interested to see if anyone knows much about the second stage
Test at sutton grammar and wilsons , for example is there a choice
Of question topics in the extended Writing? Or only one option? And how long
Are the boys given to do their piece of writing.
Also will there be comprehension and is it multiple choice?
Is the maths paper multiple choice?
Hope someone is able to help, I can't seem to find out much
about the second paper.

None of the papers are mcqs in the second stage.
Can't remember about Sutton grammar but Wilson's second stage English has been very tricky recently. They have had extended writing topics a bit similar to Whitgift.
They seem to vary things a lot every year. If I remember rightly one year it was a picture to describe ( wasn't my son's year so might not be correct). Subsequently they have had to write a report.

The moderators have said that we can't share details of the papers unless we can supply confirmation from the school that no-one will be sitting the same paper.

Certainly any local tutor should be able to give you the info, or you can use one of the well known parenting sites to ask the question.
