Tiffin girls out of catchment

Post by ukessex09 »

Hi,

Please could you advise if the girls from outside catchment have any chance of getting into the school for next year in take.

Looking at the admission policy it states that out of catchment would have no chance to get a place.

Please advise.

Yes you are correct in your assumption.

Good luck with the Chelmsford and Essex exams in September.

Haven't got the energy to copy and paste again here but have posted a reply to your exact same query re Newstead Woods in Bromley

You might be better advised getting to know the strengths of the schools which are available to you and your DD without dragging her all over the country to take exams and the consequent disruption involved in uprooting the whole household should she get a place in some far-flung grammar. Does she not have local friends / community ties where you live?

I think you've answered your own question! Good luck researching schools nearer your home.
