If you could relocate, otherwise useless strain on your DC. Concentrate on the schools where your child could realistically travel to.

Slightly confusing question given the title of the thread. Are you also thinking of making your child travel halfway round London for a place at a comprehensive school, if they pass the SET? Assuming that they would get a place at Greenshaw at that distance in the first place. Surely there must be secondary schools closer to home than that?

I think the OP meNs Wallington grammar school in Wallington . Greenshaw school is one of the test Venues for the Sutton grammar schools consortium.

Will echo what Tiffin boys stated. Commuting will be too stressful for your DS.
Good luck

Greenshaw has 60 selective places. Some schools in Wandsworth also have selective places.

But would you really travel all that way to be a bright kid in a comprehensive, when you could be that on your doorstep, so to speak (no offence to Greenshaw, but it is only partially selective). Or do all the bright boys in Northolt go to QE or something?

Not worth travelling so far even if Greenshaw was fully selective, unless OP wants to relocate, which looking at his/her other posts is possibly not on cards.
