could anyone suggest what is a safe percentage mark when doing maths papers e.g Habs, Dulwich etc - for an indication of eleven plus success.. thanks

There is no such thing as generic 11 plus success. A mark that would get you in the top ten at one school could not get you in the top one hundred at another. This question can only be answered with reference to a specific school and a specific paper. For example the Habs Maths papers is generally considered to be harder than the Dulwich maths paper.

Habs boys, Mathematics level of difficulty is bit high compare to other Indies or local super selective QE Barnet.

Having seen some historic papers and average scorings of selected boys, 60-65% score is considered as a Good score.

Unless, they give relatively easy paper this year.

English, those who prepared for Tiffin, Sutton consortium can get through....

Just to add, the cut off score for any paper is relative to the performance of the cohort sitting the exam. So, theoretically, you could have an identical paper given in two different schools and depending on how well the children perform in each of these schools, they could have two completely different pass marks. The stronger the cohort's performance overall, the higher the pass mark.
