Nonsuch new headteacher - Depty Head from Tgs

Dear Parents
I am pleased to advise that Ms Cavilla was successful yesterday in her application for the post of Headteacher of Nonsuch High School for Girls in Cheam. Ms Cavilla will take up her new post with effect from 1 September 2016.
Obviously we are sorry to be losing Ms Cavilla, who has contributed so much to the school over the last 12 years, but we are delighted that she has been appointed to this prestigious post.

Amazing how quickly they have felt the need to share this news with parents - and sadly that's two assistant/deputy heads going/gone now in the space of half a term.......

Wasn't she acting head at TGS for a while and then didn't get the job? In which case, surely no surprise. Better for TGS parents to hear it from TGS than from Nonsuch I guess.

Well done Ms Cavilla! She will be great for NonSuch and v.v.
Personally I thought she should have been made head of TGS and I find it weird that she wasn't but it doesn't really matter, hopefully now two great schools and two great headteachers.

Did she even apply for TGS headship?
Great news for Nonsuch.
Certainly a loss for TGS. 3 members of SLT and a number of teachers left TGS in a very short time.

Still nothing on Nonsuch website about a new head, I meant to ask when I went for a look around last week but forgot!!

As Hina posted earlier, Ms Cavilla would join Nonsuch from new academic year.

Have the current Nonsuch parents been told this? Clearly the new parents haven't.
