If you're up for a challenge Sally-Ann, how about a gender split?!

I found the mean average of the standardised scores just to compare males and females.

We sat this test and must say how well the SGS PTA ran the event. The pre-test communication, the parking arrangements, the organisation - it would be great if the schools were this organised! The results material is excellent and overall I'm very happy we did it.

However I have a question for the more knowledgeable.. The covering letter said that 216 was the start of the selective band, but does anyone know if that is for the grammar school counties where 25% get places? I'm trying to get a sense of what is the starting point for the super-selectives.

I'm in North London/South Herts if that helps.

Thanks for that advice, Daogroupie. We got 230 - equal English and maths - so borderline I guess. We'll need to think about our prospects some more.
