Thank you so much for the update Stroller. Its music to hear such nice words about the school, will show to my DD too. We are going to move to just 0.5 miles from the School which will hopefully benefit my DD for her after scholl activities too.

Also, will put the scores once we get the letter from the school.

All prospective new entrants can also get together at some point hopefully.

It's a yes for my DD - the letter we have tells us her marks, and that 448 girls took the stage 2 test, but it does not state the cut off mark.

According to our letter, the cut off was 103.73.

DD got 98.62. Not sure how far down the wait list that puts her.

Hard to say, because they seem to be presenting results in a different way this year. Still, if your DD would like to go to TGS, hang in there. Accept whatever you've been offered, ask to stay on the waiting list, don't buy uniform. It doesn't sound impossible...

Thanks Stroller.

Our alternatives are independent schools - one offer & one wait list. I will keep her on the TGS waitlist & email them pre Easter hols to see where she stands.

We did get an email from Nonsuch asking whether we wanted DD added to their wait list as her score was high enough to get in. But the journey is too long.

If you take a look at the patterns from previous years at TGS, there's little or no movement reported on this forum until a minor flurry the last Friday in March, and typically zero information about rank until the school returns from the Easter break. Good luck!
