When do they check your address for catchment calculation, is that before offer only. Do we need to provide any address proof or anything like that.

That varies considerably from place to place. Some go on council tax, some want bank statements/utilities bills, some want child benefit statements etc. Best to pc tact your own LA (and the School/LA if it’s different).

It might vary from LA to LA but that usually ask for a response within 2 weeks, then start chasing.

Some LEAs operate a system of 'presumed acceptance' of the school offered; where this applies, one only has to respond to decline the offer.
