Quite a few positive changes. Outer Admission area (radius of 14 km) is still too big. Needs to be reduced. Inner catchment area (10 km radius) being introduced. It also needs to be reduced to 7 or 8 km, to maintain any sense of being local school and reducing travelling time.

On the whole, a move in the right direction.

For the 6th form, the criteria for Further Maths (grade 9 in GCSE Maths) seems a bit over board. I feel grade 8 should be sufficient to demonstrate Mathematics ability.

Inner catchment area (10 km radius) measured as straight line still covers lots of area. Can be reduced to 3 circles like 5km, 8km and then outer area 12km. Posted my views

1. Looked after children and Pupil Premium children in top 300 and living in inner area have priority to the extend of PAN.

2. Admission area is now effectively 10 Km radius.

Rumour going around that the sixth form will be going Co-Ed from 2019
does appear there is no reference to boys (uses children or students in words for VI form), unlike the years 7-11 section

Tiffin School is definitely going co-ed in 2019. Personally I thinks it’s fantastic news and will better prepare the boys for uni and the ‘real world’.
