We only did half term/holiday group lessons for English and on Sep of year 6 he got a place for weekly lessons, which we accepted in preparation for the 2nd stage. If he is finishing year 5 now, I’d focus on the mock tests. We booked a mix of mock tests from Wallington PTA (we were too late for SGS) and also from a tutoring centre. There are many places which offer them up to the end of August.
