For some questions, rather than A,B, C,D,E you had to select each digit of the answer ie there were ten options for each digit. So, say for example the answer was 245, you had to select 2 (from a column of 10 options), then 4 (from a column of 10 options) etc. We knew to expect this, as an example was given on the website.
My daughter actually found the Tiffin exam easier than the SET last year, yet passed SET, but not Tiffin. There were a lot of spelling questions in the Tiffin exam, which I think was her downfall.
