Hi
Please could some advice... my daughter scored 303 for nonsuch and Wallington second round. We are out of catchment area. Also nonsuch is my 2nd choice. Is there any chance I will get a offer?? Looking forward to hear from some one. Thank you.

Just to add, that the position you put the school on the CAF form has no bearing on whether you will be offered a place if you meet the eligibility criteria.

In your case, if your daughter meets the criteria for her first choice school, she will be offered a place there.
If she doesn't meet the criteria for her first choice school and she does meet the criteria for Nonsuch, she will be offered a place at Nonsuch.

How does this work in a case where:

Girl A scored 300 and put nonsuch first
Girl B scored 350 and put wallington first(but didnt get it) and put nonsuch second

Who gets a place in this scenario?

Girl B will be in front of Girl A for both schools.

If Girl B doesn't get Wallington she will be offered Nonscuch BEFORE Girl A will be offered Nonsuch. Girl A can't leapfrog Girl B by putting Nonsuch higher up the CAF.
