Boys grammar schools
Hi, I am looking for advice on Tiffin boys, Sutton Grammar, Wallington and Wilson’s. Anyone have any experiences or knowledge of these schools? We have been to open evenings but finding it hard to choose. My DS prefers English over maths, and I find most schools tend to lean towards the sciences for boys. He is also not into sports. Any thoughts on which school/s would suit him?

Re: Boys grammar schools
They are all great schools. They have some differences (eg Wallington Boys focus on rugby, Sutton and Wilsons have a pool) and different approaches (Wilsons appears to take a much stricter approach to lateness, for example, than Sutton, where my DS is) but they are all excellent academically and appear well run and well resourced.
Which is easiest to get to? Wilsons and Tiffin are quite far apart. If there doesn't seem to be anything else separating the schools, go for the one with the easiest journey.

Tiffin school is very strong on drama. If I am not mistaken, they have a specialist performing arts and languages status.
