Do you find mock exams useful? Any recommended mock exam provider?

We found it useful for my daughter to get an idea of timings, also being in a large hall with loads of other children, some of whom got upset/were disruptive etc, the process of getting there, registering and so on - more for the logistics side of things really, though getting an idea of where she performed in the cohort was sort of useful, and it did highlight a couple of areas she could work on over the summer.

We used the mocks arranged by the PSAs of Sutton and Wallington Boys.

Exactly the same for us. Taking exams is a scary business for children, so familiarisation with the process is helpful.

Same for us too - all the queuing with lots of other nervous kids, being in a big room, and particularly saying goodbye to us at the doors of somewhere unfamiliar and waiting around whilst knowing nobody were the main benefits. Also by getting standardised scores and ranking we could see that we could relax on English prep and needed to practise more at maths.

We did the Sutton PTA mocks around June and a mock in the summer hols.

Тhe mock test run by schools in our borough were very useful. Both of my children found them helpful.

We used the Sutton Grammar tests a few years back. Liked the idea of different paper styles so we could see whether dc was better at different formats.
