Nonsuch In Catchment possibility

Post by touchq »

Dear all,
We got a score of 292 for Nonsuch the second stage, we are in Catchment. What is the probability to get a place on 1st March? We checked past cut off scores, it seems the cut off can be more than 300 for In Catchment (For example, in 2012)

Many thanks for help.

Well done to your DD for getting a good score. I think you have n good chance of getting an offer on 1st March. You should go by the last couple of years scores to get an idea on this. Last year lowest score for a place on offer day was 275. in 2017 it was 254.

You can put your feet up and relax. You’ll almost certainly get an offer on offer day. The cut offs from 2012 are not in any way comparable as Wallington and Nonsuch had separate exams back then, which greatly affects the statistics on which the scoring and cut offs are based.

That’s a useful bit of info I didn’t know re the 2012 score. My daughter got a v similar score to touchq so had been wondering same.

@rocky @annaMc, thanks a lot for the update. We hope this time they won't dramatically pull up the cut off (like 17-18, from 254 to 275).
