Well, it seems all materials (pencils, rubber, etc) will be provided by the school! :)
Good luck to everyone and I hope weather is not too bad. Hopefully traffic will be Ok.

I was wondering about materials! No mention of needing to bring a pencil etc... but they do say things pens and other stationary will be taken away as they provide materials!

The only key download on the Admissions page right now is the Journey Planner. :D

Public transport is best. If you’re driving, plan for heavy traffic and allow lots of time. Traffic wardens make a decent living in Kingston, so use one of the car parks listed in the document at the link above. The weather forecast is for rain at collection time, so pack jackets and an umbrella.

Remind the girls to use toilets at the school before the test begins, so they’re comfortable. Then keep calm, read instructions carefully, work fast and don’t get stuck on one question. Attempting more questions is more likely to get marks.

If parents are hanging around, there’s plenty of shopping locally and a lovely riverside walk nearby.

Good luck to all.

Remember that it’s best if neither you nor your daughter gives away any specifics about the test itself. You don’t know who is listening and/or who they know that has yet to sit the test: neighbours, cousins, children of colleagues. Schools often run later sittings of 11+ test for those who were unable to attend for verifiable reasons, e.g. medical. If you share useful information with anyone in person or online, including by private message before places have been allocated, you’re probably making the test easier for someone else’s daughter, giving them an advantage over your child. People talk. Every mark counts.
