March 1st - Allocations and waiting list - Wallington Girls

Post by James Bond »

Hi,

Please let me know if my understanding below is correct.

1) On first of march, the allocation will be published at Council CAF site.
2) How will we know the waiting list number for wallington girls, incase we dont get through in the first allocation?
3) When is the next revised allocation published? Would we be i formed via email?
4) Are there fixed timelines for further rounds of allocations or is it regularly updated/informed as and when our allocation changes.

Regards
JB

Often the waiting lists take time to be sorted out - can be a couple of weeks in some areas, also in some areas you are asked if you want to be on the WL and have to let them know by a certain date.

Is none of this information published on the school's maintaining LA's website (?LB Sutton)?

Last year we were not told waiting list positions until quite late, possibly after Easter. I think the school told parents the date when they could enquire about the waiting list. After that date, you can email the school and they will give you the up to date waiting list position.

Places are offered as they come up - there isn't a second allocation stage. I belive you will get an email if a place becomes available on the waiting list but you might get a phone call as well.

I’m curious as to what marks people’s DD have got in with?
Both IC and OC.
Would people be willing to share this info?
