WCGS also do not release any ranking information via WhatDoTheyKnow because:...each year in September there are normally at least one or 2 vacancies that require filling as boys do not attend on the first day/couple of days into the new academic year & subsequently decline their offer a place at Wallington County Grammar School.
WaitlistsOnce the Selective Eligibility Test is run, parents will know if they pass the test or not, so that they may list, or not, Wallington County Grammar School as a preference on their Common Application Form. Once parents submit their CAF to their local authorities, our school will provide the local authority within the next few months with a listing of students who can be considered in each admission band, but once parents are made offers of schools from their local authorities on National Offer Day each year (on 1st March) we are provided with an alphabetical list of students being offered a place in our school, SET score at this time is not shown and therefore it is almost impossible to find out the information you are asking for I'm afraid.

The following link might be useful for cut off marks

Re: Stage 2 results: what are my chances? Wilson vs SGS data
The above is very useful information for cut off marks for admissions to girls' schools, this thread is discussing similar information for boys' schools.gg234 wrote:The following link might be useful for cut off marks

Re: Stage 2 results: what are my chances? Wilson vs SGS data
But the marks means nothing to me, I don't know how much marks my son got...
Re: Stage 2 results: what are my chances? Wilson vs SGS data
Correct, the marks in link given in the above post is for girls only. Boys are not given their marks if they pass Stage 2. You can only make an educated guess of the actual outcome on the National offer day.Gabriel wrote:But the marks means nothing to me, I don't know how much marks my son got...

Re: Stage 2 results: what are my chances? Wilson vs SGS data
In the last two years, the results of stage 2 have been sent out usually after 1pm by SGS and early afternoon by Wilsons:

Re: Stage 2 results: what are my chances? Wilson vs SGS data
I think boys are told their mark if they don't qualify, along with the pass mark so they can see how close they came. If they pass they are not told their mark.
Re: Stage 2 results: what are my chances? Wilson vs SGS data
SGS FAQ said the result is no later than end of tomorrow.
