Hi everyone Just wondered if anyone knows why tiffin grammar school doesn’t send any results before national offers day? It’s a long time to wait and even a result just saying passed/failed would be so helpful.

Not entirely sure what you mean by result. My son sat the exam this year.
You should have got the first stage result before CAF submission date. That is the important bit. Stage 2 is just a ranking exercise there is no pass mark as such. Obviously in the end there will be a cut off. I assume Tiffin don't have access to CAF so can't tell for certain what that cut-off would be.
I can certainly see why they wouldn't want to give individual scores.

Well the Sutton consortium Inform us if our children have achieved a certain “standard” . In the same way it would be nice if tiffin did the same. Waiting till March for national Offers day is hard

If you have passed the Tiffin first stage you have met the standard - so all 500 boys could get a place. I think for SGS nearly 800 made the grade. Whilst Wilsons was around 650. I think it's just a different way of doing it.
