Re: Nonsuch outer catchment scores
304 OOC in Reading got offer today for Wally Girls. So, there is definite movement in the WL.
Re: Nonsuch outer catchment scores
Glad to hear there is movement and congrats to all who have secured places!
Reading to Wally girls is an insane school journey ! I used to work in Reading (we live near Wally Girls) and I resigned after 6 months as the daily commute took it's toll. I hope the family in Reading will be relocating closer to the school.

Golden75 - absolutely. If we join Wally, we will be shifting to Sutton. I don't want to put my DD through such a painful journey. Thank you for sharing your experience.

Re: Nonsuch outer catchment scores
Asking for a friend's DD for Sep 2022 entry.
Out of catchment and received a standardised score of 285 earlier this morning.
Any chances of offer? Please could someone advise.
Many thanks in advance.

Re: Nonsuch outer catchment scores
for out of catchment scores offered a place as of Sept the year of entry
Nonsuch 2017-283, 2018-301, 2019-317, 2020-299, 2021-312
Wallington Girls: 2017- 286, 2018-263, 2019-299, 2020-258 and 2021-252.
so at 285 there is fair chance of getting Wallington Girls although not on national offer day. Nonsuch, however, appears less likely.

Thanks very much. Very helpful. Looking at the data, I would agree with you.corpuscallosum wrote:for out of catchment scores offered a place as of Sept the year of entry

Re: Nonsuch outer catchment scores
My daughter's score is 306 & we are OOC
However there is a mention of 'Lowest total standardised score which passed' is 217 in todays result email - I.e. at 217, child can be offered a seat if staying (Say) next to school/ looked after/ pupil premium?
Historical data for OOC 85 seats I get the impression this score may not get a seat or should one take a chance - advise appreciated!

Looked after or pupil premium possibly (depending on how many others apply to the PP category and score higher), but living next to the school doesn't make any difference, admission is based on score in rank order, either anywhere within the catchment area, or out of catchment.surreys wrote:My daughter's score is 306 & we are OOC

Re: Nonsuch outer catchment scores
217 s a very low lowest score compared to previous years. Last year the lowest pass score was 242 and in 2018 it was 250ish.surreys wrote:My daughter's score is 306 & we are OOC

But the lowest score itself doesn't tell you much. What you need to know is how many passed the test and what the distribution of scores looks like. Most years there is a freedom of information act request that reveals the score distribution, like this one for 2021 entry: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/ ... sthrough=1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
