Need advice about relocation : Near Tiffin Girls

DD secured a placed at Tiffin Girls. We are planning to move close to school. Need advice and suggestions about the area around the school. Preferably single bus commute and commute time not more than 25 min by bus.

Congratulations to your DD. It might be helpful if you gave an idea of price range and size of property. I can think of some fantastic places to live within 25 mins on the 65 North of Tiffin, but educating a large family privately would be cheaper than the differential cost of living there

DD is the only child. We are looking for 2 or 3 bedroom within the range of 1400-1600. And mainly looking for areas from where we can catch a direct bus to school, with minimum commute time.

Is New malden commuteble and do we have a direct bus?

I was going to suggest New Malden. Lots of girls travel from there to Tiffins. It depends on where in New Malden, but most commonly two short buses or quick train and short bus ride, with the bus stopping very near the school. 20-30 minutes total commute time.

we are also looking at options to buy a flat, saw some new build available in Surbiton. If anyone can share any details about the area.

Surbiton is popular - friends with DS at the boys school live there.

There’s a direct bus from gilders road in Chessington. Chessington is good value and you would be able to rent a house in your budget there.
