We got our first preference, Tiffin school. Pleased and so relieved!

"For your information, all applicants have been ranked on their combined score. The lowest combined score currently filling the 180th place is 103 (the initial qualifying score). In the last five years all applicants living within the Inner Priority Area whose scores were within three of the initial qualifying score were offered places at Tiffin School by 1st September; in some years candidates with scores four, five, six, or seven below the initial qualifying score were also offered places."

DS scored 100 but we are happy with 2nd choice Wallington Boys so will likely decline if offered a place.

I don't know what the system is where you are, but many local authorities assume that if you stay on the waiting list you do want the place & will automatically remove the original offer if a place comes up from the waiting list. Please double check

DS scored 98 and is in the waiting list. Any idea of how many kids could be between 98 and 103 this year. I found an earlier thread where people have tracked the scores and the waitlist number.

There are 77 boys scores from 101 to 103 this year.
