Good point.. The data I had from the school (through their appeals process) was that they experience between 4-6 leavers in Y7. They, of course, backfill those places through the waiting list.. However, what you are saying about parents not being as willing to change school would actually mean that the waitlist movement would be larger than the 4-6 I previously mentioned.

It has dropped 3 places in the last 3 weeks . Wallington OOC

Original place 20 now 8 , 297 score . Checked today

I guess it will move 2 to 4 places in the next 3 to 4 weeks , after that I doubt there will be much movement unless someone randomly leaves during the year .

Good luck to everyone waiting, my DD left her space at
Wallington as we received an offer from Tiffin Girls
On the 22/8. Hope this helps. We were in the OC area for
Wallington and she had received an offer mid March.

We have accepted Wallington girls OOC

It has taken to now to drop 20 places from original waiting list .

It moved very slowly on the first 4 months , around 2 places each month .

Most of the movement happened from late August .

We was 2nd on the 21st September.

I am posting this to give others an idea of the process.

Hopefully all the information I have posted will be useful to others in coming years.
