3 Weeks to go........

And I have never been so stressed in my life!!!

DS1 sits the Whitgift exam on 8 jan and Trinity on 10 jan. Am not too concerned about his performance in Maths/VR as he regularly gets 85-95% on Bond/NFER

but his English is ropey, the highest he has scored is in the high 70s, he did a paper today and got 59%!!!!!

DS1 is in yr 5 and recently gained level 5c in his SATS, his teacher and tutor think he will be fine but I am not confident in his comprehension abilities and am so stressed have had to turn to Marlboro Lights.....

Any tips to drag me through this would be most appreciated.

Hi, Mummyto3: Bond Assensement Papers (English) have a lot of Comprehension practice. Still 3 wks to go and you have a lot of time to practise them. Suppose do two of them everyday, you will make it by then.

He finishes school this week, so will put in extra effort for the comprehension.

I would think this year private schools are keen to get candidates, and DS1 seems doing well enough...
