Habs Girls....or.... St Albans Girls High School

I am about to accept a place for my daughter at SAHS.

Have a friend with 2 girls there already and they are both really happy. Only negative comment my friend makes is on sport. She feels that if you are not at the top level it is difficult to be included in this side of things.

No for 11+ entry.

Does anyone have any views on the senior sections of these 2 schools ?

don't discount me so quickly. I have lots of info on this. To begin with the schools own websites Habs A level results in past few years are streets ahead of SAHS

Yes I agree Habs is slightly more academic than SAHS but not sure it's actually streets ahead.........

2009 A levels at grades A&B - (Habs 95%) - (SAHS 90%)

They are both high performing schools and produce great results.
I was just wondering if anyone had any views as to why they may have chosen / will choose one school over the other.
