Scholarship interview / science experiment?

My DS has been asked to attend a 30 min Academic Scholarship interview. It actually consists of two separate interviews within those 30 mins and possibly a science experiment. Just wondering whether anyone has any experience of the sort of science experiment that could possibly be asked for within such a short time scale.

I expect it will be something fairly straightforward - they willl probably looking for children who can think on their feet and come up with some imaginative (and sensible) answers
