How far is too far?

The only concern I can think of is will your child miss out on actually doing any after school clubs? Or is there another, slight later bus home to allow for this? If not can you drive 20 miles to pick him up later? I only say this because if the children desperately are keen on doing after school clubs a few times a week and are suddenly not able to then they may not enjoy being at school.

Hi, my DC travels almost that distance Nif229 and it was a shock to start with but now is v happy, has a great time on school bus, usually home 4.45, does afterschool clubs (i become taxi), and clubs near home, and a good social life with school friends (just requires that taxi mum again and sleepovers) so it is easily possible
