The letter arrived......
We got a place!!!!
My DS1 sat entrance exam at RGS Worcester on Saturday, the postman came 3 minutes ago. A small envelope which we had agreed I would open if it came. A SMALL ENVELOPE!!!!
I only had to read the words
"I am delighted to be able to offer a place in Year Seven....."
Rang OH, got voicemail so you all know before he does. DS1 at computer club tonight so he won't find out until 4.30pm.
So pleased, excited, relieved, heart won't stop beating (not literally of course, still got to pay for it lol!)
Not heard about the bursery yet and we need to know that before we can accept the place as we will need some help but its all over.
I used to be plain, but when I married Mr Pretty I became PrettyWoman and now have 2 Pretty children!
Well done, that's great news!!!
I loved the bit about it being a 'small envelope'. I always imagined the 'no thanks' would arrive in a small envelope, and the 'well dones' would arrive in a lovely large package (containing what, I don't know - maybe bells, balloons, and a trumpet fanfare !).
Enjoy the moment !!!
