Westminster scholarships
I would be interested to hear from a parent of a Westminster scholar as I need advice on the level required and what College is like and the "typical" Queen's scholar - if there is such a thing. I know around 60% of those with conditional places sit the test, which is the highest of all the selective schools. Is the school looking for excellence in every area? I'd also be keen to know how many turn down the scholarship due to the boarding stipulation.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Westminster scholarships
DS was offered a place out of year group and based on the pre-test was told he was a "potential scholar". We have now put him back in his year group so are hoping this will make his chances of a scholarship higher but his prep school is not geared to Westminster scholarships or Westminster for that matter. We will not be able to give him private tuition either.
Thanks for the advice and would appreciate any other comments.
