Does anyone know what the group session or interview are likely to comprise? 2 hours seems a long time.

Groups sessions are (normally) to see how the candidates get on/interact with each other, in some cases assessing how "teachable" they are. Individual interviews is an opportunity to get to know each child, their interests and so forth. Read other threads for more info on interview.
